TREES Community Employment and the Routes to work program presented this award to eight employers in recognition of their inclusive practice of offering employment opportunities to people with mental illnesses.
Inclusion in the workplace for people with mental illness means opportunities to earn a wage, build relationships, to have a sense of purpose, and to be participants in our community. Your efforts at recognizing the contribution of everyone is deserving of acknowledgement.
Working together we can continue to break down the stigma surrounding mental illness and create a community where all persons have a place to contribute.
